Parents Anonymous

Parent Anonymous Support Groups are safe, accepting, non-judgmental places to talk freely about being a parent. Parent Anonymous groups teach parents more effective ways of providing safe and caring homes for their children.

Men of DPN – An evening devoted to “spirited” discussions on topics and issues relative to MEN improving the quality of life in their families, as well as the City of Detroit, Highland Park and Hamtramck. We are dedicated to not just talking about issues, but being “Men of Action”, developing strategies to implement positive change in our communities, schools, and our families!. Meets from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. every 3rd Friday.

Sistah to Sister – Real talk, straight talk about issues that affect all women. Sisters offer & provide support to others sisters to enhance our daily lives as women, mothers, wives and leaders in our community. Meets from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. every 2nd and 4th Wednesday.

Divorced Mothers – Get support and understand the complexities of divorce. Meets from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. every 1st and 3rd Tuesday.

Teen Parents – Get support and understand how to transition into parenthood. Meets from 2:00-4:00 p.m. every 2nd and 4th Saturday.

Silent Support – No matter what the mode of communication is for your deaf or hard of hearing child, sometimes parents need a place to talk and get information. Meets from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. every 1st and 3rd Tuesday.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren - (contact us for dates and times)


NOTE: All are welcome to attend. Free parking, light refreshments and childcare are provided. Please RSVP to ensure proper accommodations.

Trainings and Workshops

Love and Logic Training – A 7 week series of classes that focus on raising responsible kids and identifying formulas and solutions that can work for you.

Parent Leadership Training – A series of trainings designed to give you the tools and skills to become a leader and an advocate for your children in your neighborhood, community and school district.

Birthday Celebration
Held every 4th Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
